File
- New Data...
- Creates a new empty file in the Data window. The New Data dialog prompts you for details.
- Open Data...
- Opens a sampled or idealized data file in the Data window. (formats)
- Reopen Data
- Submenu of recently created and opened data files
- Save Data
- Saves changes to the current data file, including session information (idealization, baseline, lists, results, ...)
- Save Data As...
- Saves the current data file in a location of your choice
- Close Data
- Closes the current data file and updates the session information
- Close All Data
- Closes all open data files and updates the session information
- New Model...
- Creates a new two-state model in the Model window. The New Model dialog prompts you for details
- Open Model...
- Opens a .MDL or .QMF model file in the Model window.
- Reopen Model
- Submenu of recently created and opened model files
- Save Model...
- Saves changes to the current model file
- Save Model As...
- Saves the current model file in the location of your choice
- Close Model
- Closes the current model file
- Close All Models
- Closes all open model files
- Load Workspace...
- Save Workspace As...
- New Data for Input Acquisition...
- Creates a new empty data file and assigns it as the destination for recorded data
- Open Data for Input Acquisition...
- Opens an existing data file and assigns it ... recorded data will be appended
- Assign Data for Input Acquisition...
- Recorded data will be appended to the current data file
- Unassign Data for Input Acquisition
- Recorded data will not be saved
- New Data for Output Acquisition
- Creates a new empty data file and assigns it as the location of the output stimulus waveform
- Open Data for Output Acquisition
- Opens a stimulus waveform and assigns it for output
- Assign Data for Output Acquisition
- The current data file will be played out as a stimulus
- Unassign Data for Output Acquisition
- No data file will be used as a stimulus
- Idealized Data
- Load Idealized Data...
- Overlays an idealized data file on the current data, replacing any existing idealization
- Save Idealized Data...
- Saves the idealization as a DWT file
- Save Idealized Data as ASCII...
- Saves the idealization as a sampled text file with one sample per line, where each sample is the class number (so a closed event 5 samples long becomes five lines of "0")
- Copy Idealized list to clipboard...
- Copies the idealization to the clipboard as text
- each line has
<tab> duration (seconds) <tab> class number
- Baseline Nodes
- Load Baseline Nodes...
- Loads baseline nodes into the current data file
- QuB baseline files are independent of sampling, so you can correct the baseline of a decimated file, then load its nodes into the original file
- Save Baseline Nodes...
- Saves the current data file's baseline nodes as a QBF file
- Open Results...
- Opens a QRF results file in the Results window
- Save Results As...
- Saves the current results from the Results window as a QRF file
- Exit
- Closes QuB, prompting you to save any changes

- Returns all windows to their default positions in the current layout only
- Restore defaults in all
- Returns all windows to their defaults positions in all layouts
- Floating windows
- Toggles between "floating" (freely positionable) windows and a snap-in grid
- see Interface Theory#Windows and Layouts
- Buttons visible
- Hides/shows the "Layout" button bar on the left
- Additional layouts
- Lets you define additional layouts if 7 isn't enough
