- File Name
- Type the path, or click "..." to use a standard new-file dialog
- begins with
- The default new file name begins with this prefix, followed by the date and time
- File format
- see Data Theory#Data File Types
- A/D Channel count
- the number of A/D channels
- A/D Data size
- size in bytes of each integer sample
- 2 bytes is traditional; 4 bytes trades increased dynamic range for larger files
- Sampling
- the number of points per second in the file. It can be specified in [kHz] (10 kHz = 10000 samples per second) or in [ms] (milliseconds per sample). Changing either the [kHz] or [ms] value will also update the other value
- Scaling
- relates integer data to floating point values by float * scaling = int
- see Data Theory#Choosing a Scaling value
- Experimental conditions
- Imports preset values for experimental variables such as Ligand concentration
- You can save a data file's conditions as a preset in Data Properties
- Presets
- Fills all fields in this dialog from a preset, or creates a new preset
