StimSim simulates the response to a stimulus protocol. To use it, you need
- an open Model with ligand or voltage dependence
- an open Acquisition Protocol

Properties
Stimulus file
Choose from any open Data or Acquisition Protocol file. To open a protocol (.qpf) from disk, click the "..." button.
Parameters
Here you assign each model variable (Ligand, Voltage, ...) to an A/D channel in the stimulus file. The first stimulus channel is number 1. Variables without a "Channel" have a constant "Value" instead.
New data file
Whether output should go in a new data file with the given sampling rate, or should replace the data in the last file StimSimulated.
Presets
The Presets menu lets you save commonly used stimuli for quick access. "Add to menu..." remembers your settings. When you choose a preset from the menu, it re-opens the stimulus file if necessary.
